The Hamilton Soccer Club kicked off its 2025-2026 campaign in the Monmouth Ocean Soccer Association (MOSA) League this past weekend, posting an exciting start to the season with a record of 4 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw. After several games were postponed due to weather, the club is ready to take on the rest of the season with renewed energy.
The action began early for some teams, setting a fantastic tone for the weekend. The Hamilton SC Hype Black got the club off to a winning start with a resounding 4-2 victory over Sayreville Soccer Association’s 2016G STORM in a Friday night clash.
On Sunday, the momentum continued with more impressive performances. The Hamilton SC Strikers secured a convincing 5-1 win against the MSA 2015 Matrix White, while the Hamilton SC 2018 Black dominated with a 6-2 victory over the German American Kickers Vipers. The Hamilton SC Cosmos also started their campaign with a great result, winning a close 3-2 match against Manalapan SC Braves 11B Red. In a thrilling display of resilience, the Hamilton SC Firestorm battled to a 5-5 tie against Ocean Township United SA 2017B Tide Red, showcasing their determination to secure a point in a high-scoring contest.
While some teams celebrated wins, others faced tough competition. The Hamilton SC Vipers, Hamilton SC Scorpions, Hamilton SC Predators, and Hamilton SC Cobras all faced difficult matches. Each of these games provided valuable experience that the teams will undoubtedly build upon in the weeks to come. In addition to the Cobras’ match on Friday evening, two other games were postponed due to rain; the Hamilton SC Hurricanes, Cyclones Red, Hype Red, and the Hamilton SC Wolfpack will have to wait a little longer to make their season debut.
Overall, the opening weekend provided valuable lessons and highlighted the potential within the Hamilton Soccer Club. The club looks forward to a season filled with growth, competition, and continued success.
